Seeing the museum dressed up for Christmas makes me wonder if the historical stories get easier to approach during these events. Does the festive framing bring in people who might otherwise never step through Schomberg House’s doors, and do any of them come back later for the regular exhibits?

I wonder if the St Patrick’s Day launch might accidentally sideline the Christmas theme itself. Centenary objects are great hooks, but for local visitors the festive context could be what draws them in first. Have you considered keeping the two events more distinct?
