The Museum Outreach program for the Museums of Orange Heritage has been developed for the purpose of promoting the interpretive centres. These museums aim to dispel the myths and misconceptions around the Glorious Revolution in 1688 to 1691 and the Orange Order from its formation in 1795. This approach has already improved the acceptance of our culture and reduction in community tension across many areas in Northern Ireland.
What exactly we offer:
- Lessons to schools, community groups, historical societies etc.
- Talks and lectures on key areas in Orange History
- Educational Literature – worksheets, workbooks and lesson plans
- Museum Handling Boxes available to hire
